Vested interest is what makes the world go round.

Vested interest is what makes the world go round.

It is the very basis of capitalism, Cadre Swan.
It is what makes the shopkeeper want to get up early to welcome customers, Comrade Swan.
The salesman has an identical  vested interest in selling his wares. Plainly not to the Collective.

Only a troglodyte Marxist can so ignorantly invert and pervert the raison d'etre of all that makes a mockery of utopian / socialist /  Marxist dogma.

Maybe henceforth with Wayne Swan's ideas we should all contemplate the virtues of Labor's totalitarian media policies, where they shoot businessmen for profiteering [I guess it will be reconfigured as 'vested interests.'

Never mind the scores of other catastrophes they foist on us.

When the revolution comes Wayne's world will be no more.
